ENRICHMENT
Enrichment programs are the cornerstone of FRIES-Doyon, and are either grade-specific or schoolwide. Last year, FRIES-Doyon provided funding for Massachusetts Audubon Society naturalists to visit Grades 1, 3, and 4, a visit to Grade 5 from the Bay Colony Educators. We also helped address some of today’s issues seen in schools across America, funding the “Wizards and Knights” anti-bullying program for our younger students and purchasing “Second Step” anti-bullying program materials for Grade 5.
Volunteers are needed to help research programs, view programs at other schools, act as a liaison with teachers, or meet and greet presenters the day of a performance. Please contact Enrichment Chair Brett Johnson at brettrjohnson@verizon.net to volunteer.
